Microsoft Expands Authentication Options for Frontline Workers

As Microsoft expands the services available to frontline workers and we continue to look at ways to better connect those workers with the enterprise, making it easy to access is critical. To that end, Microsoft has released the new “My Staff Portal” tool allowing IT to delegate simple management of staff to managers and bypassing the help desk. In addition, staff can now authenticate using phone numbers and SMS reducing the need to manage passwords and embracing common ways frontline workers connect with others. And these tools also support shared devices with security to allow a frontline worker to quickly sign-in, work, and securely sign out of their resources.
