Availability Zones Add Resiliency in South Central US Datacenter

While Azure regions were designed from the beginning with high availability and protection using mirrored datacenters, redundant services, and protection down to the hardware, Microsoft has been expanding the protection and the options for how customers run workloads using Availability Zones (AZ). AZs each offer independent power, Internet, and supporting systems.
