Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability

Microsoft’s cloud services focused on sustainability have been released. The service, called Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability, is designed to bring a combination of packaged solutions and services together to help with sustainability insights. The initial release provides tools to aggregate and unify environmental data into a single location in Azure. The service includes some pre-built reports and tools like the Emissions Impact Dashboard while allowing organizations to build and share their own reports and data analytics.  Details on this release of the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability can be found here.

  • Microsoft is building several industry-specific cloud solutions with pre-built apps, solutions, data models, reports, dashboards, etc. The Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability is one of these offerings.
