Microsoft Announces Viva – A New Employee Experience Platform

Microsoft is re-envisioning work-from-home and remote worker connectivity with a new suite of tools called Microsoft Viva. Viva is a new type of solution focused on Employee Experiences with 4 initial apps and services: Viva Connections, Viva Insights, Viva Learning, and Viva Topics. Each of these experiences are built into Microsoft Teams and build on existing Microsoft 365 investments like SharePoint Syntax, Workplace Analytics, Yammer, and SharePoint Online. In addition, these experiences offer connectivity into non-Microsoft offerings helping organizations integrate and centralize existing apps and services into a Teams experience. The first two Viva apps are available now and additional Viva announcements and capabilities will be announced soon.
