Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Store: A New Marketplace for AI Agents

At Serverless Solutions, we’re always looking for ways to help organizations streamline their workflows and get more value from their Microsoft 365 investments. That’s why we’re paying close attention to Microsoft’s latest announcement: the launch of the Copilot Agent Store. 

The Copilot Agent Store is a new digital marketplace designed to centralize access to AI agents that work with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat. These agents can be developed by Microsoft, trusted partners, or even by an organization’s internal teams. The store provides a unified location to discover, share, and deploy these agents, making it easier for users to find the right tools for their specific needs. 

From a practical standpoint, the Agent Store includes features you’d expect from a modern marketplace—search functionality, curated collections, URL-based sharing, and detailed agent pages. It’s built to support both licensed Microsoft 365 Copilot users and those using the free Copilot Chat experience. 

Microsoft’s broader vision is to make Copilot the primary interface for AI in the workplace. Agents are a key part of that strategy, enabling users to automate tasks, retrieve information, and connect workflows across tools. The Agent Store helps bring this vision to life by making it easier to find and use these agents quickly. 

For organizations, this means faster deployment of AI-powered solutions and the ability to scale them across teams. With orchestration tools, users can even link multiple agents together to create more complex workflows.

• Empowering Users with Rapid AI Access: The marketplace aims to let users quickly find, acquire, and use the right agent for their role—often within seconds. With orchestration tools, users can also combine agents to unlock more complex workflows and productivity gains.
